OpenBlend puts your needs at the heart of a performance process, and it is important that you keep your Motivators updated to help your manager understand your motivations. You can swap out your Motivators at any time.



 

We recommend that you update your Drivers before your 1:1, to allow your manager time to review the changes and to allow for your one-to-ones to 

 


When to update and replace your Motivators

You can update or replace your Motivators at any point. 


We recommend that you update your Motivators before your 1:1, to allow your manager time to review the changes and also save time in the session with your manager, for discussing the important agenda items.


When you reach your target score, OpenBlend will prompt you to replace your Motivator; however, you can choose not to if you would prefer to maintain monitoring your current and target scores for the Motivator.

Replacing Motivators

There may come a time, when you would like to update your Motivators and replace some of them that you had previously selected. 

You can change your Motivators, within your profile, by following the below steps


  1. From your Profile Summary page, simply click on the"View and Update" link within the Motivators section or use the left-hand side navigation to go to the Motivators section within OpenBlend.

  2. Click on the "Change Selected Motivators" tab

  3. Simply toggle your chosen Motivators on or off to create your new selection of Motivators.


  4. Once you have selected your new Blend Driver, you will see a pop-up on the "Current Motivators" section of Motivators alerting you to the new motivator that needs setting up.


  5. Clicking on the segment will then provide you with a pop-up to rate your new Motivator with your current score and target score and also add in your personalised description.
  6. Once you are done, click the "Save Motivator" button.



Mandatory Motivators

Your organisation may have a mandatory Motivator enabled, if this is the case, you will not be able to replace this Motivator. 


The information on the right-hand side of the Motivators will inform you of the requirements.
