What's the purpose of a one-to-one meeting?
One-to-one conversations between an employee and manager, held weekly, bi-weekly or monthly, are a common practice in most organisations. The goal of having regular one-to-one conversations are many, and include supporting the employee, keeping motivation high, giving feedback on performance, and building the relationship.

How to book in your reoccurring one-to-one
You can book reoccurring one-to-ones in OpenBlend right from your calendar.
Simply set-up a meeting invite in your calendar with you and your manager (or as a manager, you can invite your employee) and also add calendar@openblend.com to the invite.
This will synchronise your meetings with OpenBlend sessions in the platform. You'll then receive reminders to prepare for upcoming sessions and 'Begin a session' at the time of your session.
You can also use this method for booking one-off sessions.
You can also use calendar@openblend.com to book one-off sessions if you wish.
We support the following reoccurance cases:
- A session every x days
e.g. asession every 22 days at 11am
- A session every x weeks on y day of the week
e.g. a session every 2 weeks on Wednesday at 11am
- A session every x months on the first/second/third/fourth/last y day of the week
e.g. a session every 2 months on the 2nd Wednesday of the month at 11am.
Updating your booking
Changing the day or time of your next one-to-one is easy!
Once you have created your meeting invite in your calendar, you can easily move this around to reschedule the day or time, directly in your calendar, and OpenBlend will make the relevant updates in the platform.
Please note, if you have used your calendar to book in your sessions, you will not be able to edit the series directly in OpenBlend.
Viewing your one-to-ones in OpenBlend
You can view all of your previous sessions, connection sessions and future booked sessions in your OpenBlend Session Calendar, as you can see in the screenshot below.
