What are High Fives?


High Fives are an optional module in OpenBlend, that can be used to share recognition and appreciation with peers across your business. With High Fives, you can send one-off, unprompted feedback to anyone in your organisation to highlight their success and contribution.



How to send a High Five?


When you log into OpenBlend there are two ways you can get to High Fives: 


1. Click on 'High Fives' under the 'Me' section in your left-hand navigation 

2. On your homepage, scroll down to 'My Snapshot' and click 'View/ Give High Fives' on the High Fives tile. 



You will land directly on your High Fives page where you can see Received and Given tabs. High Fives are displayed by newest first, any new High Fives that have not been seen will be marked as New until viewed. 



To send a High Five, simply click 'Give High Five' and the below pop up will appear: 

  1. Type the name of the individual you would like to send the High Five to
  2. Share more details around why you're sending them High Five
  3. Click 'Send High Five'. 



You will receive an email notification when someone from your organisation sends you a High Five. You are able to access your High Five by clicking on the link within your email notification. 



Discussing High Fives with your Manager 


You can also add High Fives to the agenda of your next 1:1 with your manager. Simply click on 'Add to Agenda Items' and the 'High Fives Overall' will automatically be added to your agenda. While in a session, Managers will have the chance to view their team's given and received High Fives.





For Managers: Reviewing your Team's High Fives


Simply navigate to 'Team Tools' under 'My Team' and select the 'High Fives' tab. Clicking on 'View All' next to a team member's name displays a list of their received High Fives.



Received High Fives are also shown as part of the snapshot view for Evaluate. By clicking on the High fives widget in the Evaluate area you are able to view your team's High fives.
