Overview
Notes: Objectives are designed to provide employees and teams; with a clear and structured understanding of what they need to achieve.
We have added some more features to Objectives Progress History:
- Your edits will now be recorded and contain progress changes and other details
- Milestone edits will now be recorded in Objective progress history tab
- When closing an Objective this now records in the Progress History tab
- Your Track/Behind schedule changes are now also tracked via the progress history tab
Objectives
Objectives is a customisable feature; your business may have called it something else (e.g. Priorities, Goals). Performance objectives, also widely referred to as performance goals, are one of the biggest determining factors for employee performance success..
When creating an Objective use SMART:
- Specific - clear, detailed and meaningful
- Measurable - quantifiable to track progress against
- Attainable - realistic to achieve
- Relevant - align with your job function/the company mission
- Time-bound - give yourself a deadline
Objectives consist of company, team and personal objectives as well as a new metric with milestones.
Note: Milestone is an optional feature, your business may not have it switched on.
The Progress History tab will now record any edits made to your Objectives including progress changes and other details.
Navigate to you Objectives page via your left-hand navigation menu.
Simple click details on one of your Objectives and the following three tabs will be displayed:
- Overview
- Self-Coaching
- Progress History
Navigate to Progress History tab and the following information will be presented.
Milestone edits will now be displayed within the Progress History tab.
When in a Session you have the opportunity to Close any completed and achieved Objectives. Closed Objectives will also record and be displayed within your Progress History.
You have the ability to set your Objectives to Track or Behind.
This also records in your Progress History tab to give your Leaders the opportunity to see which Objectives are currently on Track or Behind to then discuss within your next session.
