User Welcome Emails

You have a few options on how you would like your welcome emails to be sent out during your onboarding phase.

  • Send after manager completes training
You can manage your OpenBlend roll-out through the use of the admin 'Training' area. By assigning managers to a training session they will receive their welcome email along with the training details. Then 48 hours after the manager has been trained, the employee will automatically be sent their welcome email to invite them to register.

  • Send immediately when users are created in OpenBlend
OpenBlend will automatically send out the welcome email as soon as the user is added to OpenBlend.

  • Only send manually
The welcome emails will need to be manually triggered by you, for both employees and managers.

You can set-up your preference for the welcome emails within your Admin area.

  1. Navigate to Company Settings from the left-hand navigation
  2. Select the "When to send login emails" sub-tab
  3. Select your preferred option

IT Set-up

As part of onboarding OpenBlend, it is important that you set up your IT team whitelists the OpenBlend domains, to ensure that your employees can receive emails from OpenBlend, without it going into their Junk folder.

We also have our Hosting, Network and Data Security guide which you can send over to your IT Teams, for further information.
