Your OpenBlend users can be assigned to a Business Area (Job Function and Office Location), enabling you to filter and organise data from your organisation in Data on Demand. As Admin, you can configure the choices available for the Job Function and Office Location fields and assign your users to the correct Business Areas.

When creating the Job Function and Office Location Business Areas in OpenBlend, think about how these would best serve the data needs of your organisation. Which groupings are valuable to monitor and support your initiatives?

Creating Job Functions & Office Locations

Do you have a User Sync integration? You will need to ensure that the spelling of Job Functions and Office Locations is the same as your internal systems so that the integration can match these up correctly.

Once you have navigated to the Business Areas within OpenBlend, you can follow the below steps to create your list.

  1. Click on the bullet list icon next to Business Area you would like to set up
  2. Click the "+Add" button on the top right-hand side
  3. Add the name of the Job Function or Office Location
  4. Click "Save
