Data on Demand is OpenBlend’s reporting feature, powered by Microsoft PowerBI. Data on Demand enables you to analyse your business’s live OpenBlend data.

Requirements

  1. Establish your Data Contacts
Consider how you want to use the data and who should have access (Some data may be sensitive/personal)

  2. PowerBI Pro Licences
Each data contact who will have access requires a Power BI Pro licence (£90/per licence/per annum)

  3. Populated OpenBlend Data
Direct access to your data will be shared once your employees start populating data and having sessions

Licensing Options

  1. If your business uses Microsoft, licences need to be added to existing Microsoft accounts via the Microsoft 365 Admin center or Azure Portal to avoid creating duplicate accounts (Microsoft Instructions)

  2. If your business doesn’t use Microsoft, we can manage the licensing on your behalf and add it to your invoice at a cost of £100/per licence/per annum

  3. If you already have a Microsoft Power BI Pro licence, simply tell us your Power BI account email address

Set-up Process

  1. Send data contact(s) details and licensing requirements to your Customer Success Manager

  2. We’ll add you to our Active Directory to enable us to share reports with you. You’ll receive an email from Microsoft; please accept the invitation. (Please note: You won’t have access to any apps or reports at this stage)

  3. We’ll grant security permissions for the data contact(s). Once complete you’ll see a launch button to Data on Demand on your OpenBlend welcome screen

  4. We’ll host a training/demo session for your data contact(s) to show you how to get the most value out of your OpenBlend data

Please note that it can take up to 2 week for this process to complete.
