Data on Demand is OpenBlend’s reporting feature, powered by Microsoft PowerBI. Data on Demand enables you to analyse your business’s live OpenBlend data.
Requirements
- Establish your Data Contacts
Consider how you want to use the data and who should have access (Some data may be sensitive/personal) - PowerBI Pro Licences
Each data contact who will have access requires a Power BI Pro licence (£90/per licence/per annum) - Populated OpenBlend Data
Direct access to your data will be shared once your employees start populating data and having sessions
Licensing Options
- If your business uses Microsoft, licences need to be added to existing Microsoft accounts via the Microsoft 365 Admin center or Azure Portal to avoid creating duplicate accounts (Microsoft Instructions)
- If your business doesn’t use Microsoft, we can manage the licensing on your behalf and add it to your invoice at a cost of £100/per licence/per annum
- If you already have a Microsoft Power BI Pro licence, simply tell us your Power BI account email address
Set-up Process
- Send data contact(s) details and licensing requirements to your Customer Success Manager
- We’ll add you to our Active Directory to enable us to share reports with you. You’ll receive an email from Microsoft; please accept the invitation. (Please note: You won’t have access to any apps or reports at this stage)
- We’ll grant security permissions for the data contact(s). Once complete you’ll see a launch button to Data on Demand on your OpenBlend welcome screen
- We’ll host a training/demo session for your data contact(s) to show you how to get the most value out of your OpenBlend data
Please note that it can take up to 2 week for this process to complete.
