Registration Process


Please note: If you have a User Sync Integration, your employees will not need to complete the registration process as all the data is sent directly to OpenBlend. When a new user logs into OpenBlend for the first time, they will be taken straight to their homepage. 


Before you can access OpenBlend, you must complete the registration process. The OpenBlend registration process consists of 2 sections (please note that these sections will only show if your organisation has the registration steps switched ON, otherwise, you will skip straight to the step of 'Adding a profile picture'):


Section 1: Personal Details

  • Gender Identity
  • Birth Year
  • Dependants


Section 2: Work Details

  • Job Function
  • Office Location


Once you have completed your registration, you will be taken to your homepage and asked to choose a profile picture. 




Accessing your profile 


To access your profile, simply click on the icon on the far right-hand side of the top navigation, which displays your profile picture. From here you can access:


  • Change your password
  • Change your profile picture
  • Update/View your details (About Me)
  • Set your Notification Settings 
  • Log out
  • Set your Light/Dark mode preference



Viewing & updating your information


In 'About me', you can view your:

  • First & last name
  • Email address


To update this information, please contact your Admin. You can also choose your preferred time zone to ensure that your 1:1 calendar invites are logged correctly.


Notification preferences 



You have several options for receiving notifications from OpenBlend. The default is email, but you may have the option of Teams or Slack if your company has enabled this.


You can choose which notifications you would like to receive and also how you would like to receive them from within your Notification Settings. OpenBlend notifications for talent includes:

  • High Five received    
  • Actions, Agenda Items, Motivators, Objectives or Wellbeing updated and no 1:1 within 30 days    
  • Objective created / closed / deleted / reopened (by my manager)    
  • Objective edited / progress updated (by my manager)    
  • Objectives due soon (sent 2 days before the due date)    
  • Booked 1:1 starting soon (sent 24 hours and 15 to 20 mins before the start)    
  • Post 1:1 report    
  • Reminder to re-book Cancelled 1:1's    
  • Evaluation notifications    
  • Assigned to an action    
  • Actions due soon    
  • Archive old Actions    
  • Updates to My Development made by my manager
