Overview

The next version of OpenBlend will go live on 3rd February. It will first go live in Demo on Monday 31st January, so you'll have a chance to see the changes.

Admin Enhancements

User Welcome Emails

  • Changes have been made to enable company Admins to better manage when new users at their company receive their OpenBlend login email.
    • The options are:
      • Send after manager completes training
When a manager is assigned to a training session, they will be sent the training session details along with their log-in details. Then 48 hours after the manager's training date has passed, the employee welcome email will be sent out automatically.
      • Send immediately when users are created in OpenBlend
The welcome email will be sent out automatically, as soon as the user is created.
      • Only send manually
No emails will be automatically sent by OpenBlend, and Welcome emails will need to be triggered manually once new users are created.

Other Admin updates

  • Company Admins now also have more detailed information about their users' login status under User Information

  • Job Functions and Office Locations can now optionally be renamed, for example "Department" instead of "Job Function"
