OpenBlend will keep you up to date with latest activity and upcoming sessions. This article explains how you can configure which notifications you receive, and how you receive them.



Your Notification Preferences

Notifications Overview


You have several options for receiving notifications from OpenBlend. The default is email, but you may have the option of Teams or Slack if your company has enabled this.


You can choose which notifications you would like to receive and also how you would like to receive them from within your Notification Settings.


OpenBlend notifications include:


Employee Notifications 

  • High Five received
    Get notified when you receive a High Five, if enabled. 

  • Agenda Items, Blend, Objectives, To Do's or Wellbeing updated and no session within 30 days

  • Individual digest
    A wrap up email as a summary of your activity in the last 2 months in OpenBlend. 
    • A general roundup - Overall Blend and Wellbeing percentages, and number of feedback requests due
    • A list of your actions outstanding
    • Any upcoming sessions booked (or an option to book one if you haven’t done so)
    • A few more general details

  • Objective created / closed / deleted (when not by me)
    Get notified when your manager edits or updates progress on one of your Objectives

  • Objective edited / progress updated (when not by me)
    Get notified when your manager edits or updates progress on one of your Objectives

  • Objectives due soon
    Get notified when you have an Objective with a due date in the next 48 hours

  • Session starting soon
    Get notified 15-20 minutes before your session starts

  • Post-session report
    Get notified following a session, with a session wrap up of all the Agenda Items you discussed

  • To Do's due soon
    Get notified when you have an Objective with a due date in the next 48 hours


Additional Manager Notifications

  • Team Digest
    A wrap up email as a summary of your activity in the last 2 months in OpenBlend.
    • A general roundup - Overall Blend and Wellbeing percentages for your team, and number of feedback requests due
    • Personal actions due for you
    • Team insights, covering blend changes etc for your team
    • A few more general details

  • Blend updated (by a team member)
    Get notified when your employee(s) updates their Blend progress, or change a Driver

  • Wellbeing updated (by a team member)
    Get notified when your employee(s) updates their Wellbeing scores.



Accessing Notification Preferences

To access your Notification Settings, simply click on the top right-hand button containing your initials and select "Notification Settings" as outlined in the screenshot below.



Notification Integrations
OpenBlend can integrate with Microsoft Teams and Slack. This enables you to receive notifications in either Teams or Slack, in addition (or instead of) email.
