Data on Demand is OpenBlend’s reporting feature, powered by Microsoft PowerBI. Data on Demand enables you to analyse your business’s live OpenBlend data.



Summary

This section of Data on Demand gives you visibility and insight on the Objectives that have been created in OpenBlend.


Please note: The data filter on this report, will filter the Objectives by 'Created Date'. 



Objective Usage Stats

Gives you insight into the employees using Objectives in OpenBlend. This data set includes:

  • Objectives created in timeframe
    The total number of Objectives created within the timeframe selected 
    For example, 415 Objectives were created by employees since December 2021. 
     
  • Employees created Objectives
    The total number of employees who created Objectives within the timeframe selected
    For example, 99 employees have created at least 1 Objective since December 2021. 
     
  • % of total employees
    The percentage of employees who created Objectives within the timeframe selected. 
    For example, 61% employees have created at least 1 Objective since December 2021. Meaning 39% of employees did not create an Objective in this timeframe. 
     
  • Average Objectives created per employee
    Based on the total Objectives created and the number of employees who have created Objectives within the timeframe, this data shows you the average number of Objectives per employee. 
    For example, on average, employees created 4.2 Objectives each within the timeframe selected. 
     
  • Average goal timeframe (months)
    Based on the total Objectives created within the timeframe, looking at the total number of months between the start date and due date, and calculating the average number of months per Objective.
    For example, the average goal timeframe for the Objectives created since December 2021 is 3.7 months. 
     
  • Average time to reach target (months)
    Looking at the total number of months between the start date and the date it was closed out, and calculating the average number of months per Objective. This is based on the total Objectives created and closed out, within the timeframe selected. 
    For example, the average number of months for employees to reach target for the Objectives since December 2021 is 1.2 months.


Metric Type

This shows you a bar graph, to display the types metrics employees are using for their Objectives that have been created within the timeframe. These are then ordered by popularity. 

 

The options are:

  • Binary (Yes/No)
  • Currency
  • Milestone
  • Numeric
  • Percent


For example, 175 Objectives were created with the Milestone metric type since December 2021. 


Currency

For the Objectives which have a metric type of Currency, this donut chart shows you the different currency types employees are using.
For example, 11 employees have created Objectives with the currency GBP since December 2021. 


Milestones

For the Objectives which have a metric type of Milestone, this section gives you insight into the Milestones created by your employees. 

  • Total Milestones
    Shows the total number of Milestones created by employees within the timeframe selected 
    For example, 43 Milestones have been created within Objectives since December 2021.  
     
  • Total Employees with Milestones
    The total number of employees who created Milestones within the timeframe selected 
    For example, 15 employees have created Milestones since December 2021. 
     
  • Objectives with Milestones
    The total number of Objectives with Milestones, created within the timeframe selected 
    For example, 29 Objectives have been created with Milestones, since December 2021. 
     
  • Average Milestones per Objective
    The average number of Milestones per Objective, created within the timeframe selected 
    For example, 1.5 Milestones created per Objective, since December 2021.
     

Hierarchy

This bar graph shows you the number of Objectives created by the type. Objective types include:

  • Company
  • Team
  • Employee

For example, since December 2021 46 Team Objectives have been created 


New Objectives created over time

This section shows you the total number of Objectives created over time, within the timeframe you have selected. 


In this section can drill up and down in the bar chart data formats to view the data by by:

  • Years
  • Quarters
  • Months
  • Days

Employees with no Open Objectives

This table lists all the employees with no Open Objectives. 


Top Tip! This is easier to read when you export to Excel and then you can copy the employee email addresses, and paste them into your email to communicate out to employees who haven't got any Open Objectives.

Select Tag

This drop down allows you to select specific Objective Tags, so that you can look at the defined data. You can select multiple Tags at a time from this dropdown. 



Top Tip! If you are asking your employees to create their KPI/OKRs in OpenBlend, this is great for keeping track on Objectives created for KPIs/OKRs in OpenBlend. You will then be able to see the number of employees who have created Objectives for KPIs/OKRs, as long as they have been tagged correctly.
