Setting up Company Objectives help to communicate your business vision and goals to all employees, allowing managers to align Team Objectives to the Company Objectives, and giving employees context into how their Personal Objective have an impact on the wider team and business goal.
Enabling Company Objectives
If you have not already enabled Company Objectives, you can do this from your Admin area.
Simply follow the below steps enable Company Objectives
- Click on the Admin Button
- Navigate to 'Company Settings' in the left-hand navigation
- Click on the 'Objectives' sub-tab within the Company Settings section
- Scroll to 'Do you want to use Company Objectives'
- Select the 'Yes' radio button
Setting up your Company Objectives
Once Company Objectives are enabled, you can go ahead and set up your Objectives. You can watch the video to learn how or follow the steps below.
Step 1: Navigate to Company Objectives
- Go into your Admin Area
- Navigate to 'Company Objectives' from the left-hand navigation menu
Step 2: Create your Company Objective
- Click on the "+ Add New Company Objective" button
- Add the Objective title
- Add the Objective description, if you wish to expand on this some more
- Click on the "Next" button
- Add the Start Date
- Add the Due Date
- Select the metric for the Objective to be measured by
- Progress not tracked (information only)
- Milestones
- Percentage
- Number
- Currency
- Yes/No
- Set the starting position
- Set the Target
- Add any Objective Tags if applicable
- Click on the "Create Company Objective" button
Step 3: If you chose Milestones as the metric type
- Click on the "+ Add new milestone" button
- Add the milestone title
- Set the importance
- Set the due date
- Set the measure for success, the options are:
- Percentage
- Number
- Currency
- Yes/No
- Set the starting position
- Set the Target
- Click on the "Create milestone" button
Step 4: Add the rest of your Company Objectives
Repeat the process until all all your Company Objectives have been created.
