This article will give you an overview of how OpenBlend's Wellbeing module works and how you can best use this in one-to-one conversations.
Wellbeing Overview
OpenBlend includes a Wellbeing module because your wellbeing is important, and because your wellbeing has an impact on your work (and vice-versa). Making wellbeing part of conversations helps create a healthy culture in the workplace and helps people thrive and perform at their best.
Wellbeing asks you three simple questions about how you're feeling (on a scale of 0-10):
- How happy are you?
- How confident are you?
- How capable do you feel to manage stress?
Research has shown that how people respond to these questions gives a good indication of how well they can perform in the workplace.
Including Wellbeing in a 1-to-1 conversations with your manager will help to let them know if there is something happening at work or in your personal life that is impacting you. Talking through this will help you feel listened to, understood and help you get any support you need.
Best practice is to update your Wellbeing scores before a 1-to-1 session, or whenever there is a change to your wellbeing.
Setting up Wellbeing
When you first log-in to OpenBlend, you will be asked to score your Wellbeing. You can revisit the Wellbeing module at any time to update your scores.
You will see three gauge dials. For each dial, simply click on the score for each question to rate how you are feeling right now, and then click "Save Score" button. The chart will show how your scores have changed over time.
