Overview
This product release is aimed at helping to increase frequency of usage for managers and employees.
These updates are aimed to be deployed to demo on Monday 25th April 2022.
The target release date for this release is Thursday 28th April 2022.
OpenBlend Digest for Managers and Employees
New Digest Notifications summarising your (or your teams) current status within OpenBlend.
Digests will send on specific dates every other month starting from 24th May 2022.
Employees Digest includes:
- A general roundup - Overall Blend and Wellbeing percentages, and number of feedback requests due
- A list of your actions outstanding
- Any upcoming sessions booked (or an option to book one if you haven’t done so)
- A few other details about the app more generally
Manager Digest includes:
- A general roundup - Overall Blend and Wellbeing percentages for your team, and number of feedback requests due
- Personal actions due for you
- Team insights, covering blend changes etc for your team
- A few other details about the app more generally
If you are a manager and an employee within OpenBlend, you will receive 2 separate emails, one for your profile and one for your team.
Subsequent dates for this notification include: 26th July, 27th September, 22nd November, 24th January 2023, 28th March 2023.
Agenda Item/Talking Points Improvements
- If a user has no Agenda Items/Talking Points when they begin the session, they will now see a "Tip" card between the previous and next session cards asking them to add Agenda Items/Talking Points.
- When discussing Blend Drivers or Objectives that were not added to Agenda Items/Talking Points now automatically adds them to Agenda Items/Talking Points in the "Discussed" state.
- Additional Agenda Items/Talking Points detail is now included on the session roundup entry in the Activity Feed.
Notifications Updates
Post Session Summary
After a session has concluded, the participants will receive a summary notification about the session, including:
- Session information (when, with whom)
- Agenda Items/Talking Points Discussed
- Actions created
This notification will be sent via email, slack, teams, depending on the notification settings and integrations you may have set up.
Microsoft Teams Welcome Message
When you enable the Microsoft Teams integration, users will receive a welcome message, as below.
If you have the Slack Notifications Integration or Teams Notifications Integration share the Notifications how-to with your employees so that they can update their preferences on which channel they would like to receive notifications.
Other Changes
- When viewing your Session Calendar, the calendar now defaults to a list view of all your booked sessions. A user can opt to also view the Session Calendar as a month view.
- You will now be able to view the notes an employee adds when updating their Wellbeing from the Wellbeing chart entries within the Wellbeing section.
