Overview
This product release is aimed at continuing improve the user experience with the Agenda setting and starting to improve the user experience in Evaluate; however, there are more Evaluate improvements to follow in coming releases. With this release, we will also be launching our new Language support!
These updates are aimed to be deployed to demo on Thursday 5th May 2022.
The target release date for this release is Thursday 12th May 2022.
Evaluate Improvements
General Evaluate Improvements
- The 1,000 character limit has been removed for:
- Manager evaluation responses
- Employee self-evaluation responses
Evaluate Permissions Update
- Create/Edit allows for the following access rights:
- Creating Evaluate Review Templates & Cycles
- Editing Evaluate Review Templates & Cycles
- Manually update submission statuses. Learn More
- Downloading the CSVs
- View Submissions/Approve allows for the following access rights:
- Viewing/downloading CSVs
- Where the user has been added as a "Reviewer"
- Approving submissions
- Responding and Submitting on behalf of managers
Agenda Improvements
Discussing Blend Drivers
- Newly added Blend Drivers will automatically add a corresponding Agenda Item
- Removed Blend Drivers will automatically add a corresponding Agenda Item, which cannot be removed, only Discussed.
- When clicking to "Discuss" in session, this will lead to the Blend Progress page
Discussing Objectives
- Closing Objectives will automatically add a corresponding Agenda Item, which cannot be removed, only Discussed.
- When clicking to "Discuss" in session, this will lead to the closed Objective details page.
- Closing an Objective in session will add a Discussed card into Agenda Items, regardless of who closes it
General Agenda Improvements
- When in a session, “Back to Agenda Items” now appears on all sidebar menu pages except Agenda Items
- There is now a higher level taxonomy for Additional Agenda Items to give more context to the manager:
- Users will see a new dropdown with the options:
- Home
- Work
- Home and Work
- Users will see a new dropdown with the options:
NEW! Language Support
OpenBlend now supports French, German and Dutch translations inside of the app.

Other Items
Team Dashboard
- The "Next Session" tile is now time limited to within the next week and if there are no sessions within the next 6 months, it will show as no sessions booked.
- Leaders can now send a nudge email to their employees to remind them to add Agenda Items before their next session from their Team Dashboard.
