Overview

This release focuses on enhancements to our evaluate module.  

  • The demo release date will be Tuesday 12th December 2023. 

  • The planned live release date will be Tuesday 19th December 2023.  


NEW! Evaluate Updates  

 

Managers will now receive a prompt within OpenBlend when they click on a team member in an evaluate cycle who is ready to discuss their submitted evaluation. This pop-up within OpenBlend will prompt managers to do one of two things: 


 

  1. 1. Immediately begin a 1:1 with the chosen team member, going straight into the discuss experience for the evaluate cycle. 


  1. 2. Do not start a session and instead review, on their own, both the managers and talent’s submitted answers, if self-evaluation is turned on. 



 


System action titles & dates, related to evaluate cycles, will now update to show what remaining actions are left to be taken, here are some examples below:  

 

  • When there are still submissions to be made by the manager for some of their team members in an evaluate cycle, the title of the system action will not change until all team members have received a submission from the manager and are ready for a discussion.  

 

  • When all submissions have been made, the title of the system action will change to “Please discuss your “<cycle-name>” evaluations with your team” 

 

 

 

  • Once all discussions have been completed, the system action will be marked as complete automatically. 

 

 

 

  • Once a discussion has been completed, any remaining system actions asking the talent to complete their self-evaluation will be closed automatically. If a talent has not done their self-evaluation ahead of the discussion, the system action will still be closed down.  

 

 


  • System actions will also be marked as complete if the talent for whom you have to complete an evaluation for is marked as ‘Not Applicable’ for any reason. 

 

Other work: Develop Module Enhancements 

 

  • There are now explanatory pop-ups that will appear for a manager if they click ‘View’ on their talent’s agenda item for Develop before there is anything to review. 


  • Seniority levels can now be disabled in Master Admin.
