✨ NEW! Redesigned Snapshot View in Evaluate
We’ve given the Snapshot feature in Evaluate a refresh to provide a more complete and up-to-date picture of performance.
Previously, managers could view a basic overview of their direct report’s profile during the review process. With this update, the Snapshot has been redesigned to provide visibility across all key performance areas - including Objectives, Actions, High Fives, and Feedback - offering context for evaluation conversations.
Additionally, the Snapshot will now display only the updates that have been made since the last completed Evaluate cycle, helping managers focus on recent progress and ‘in-the-moment’ performance.
Finally, Talent completing their self-evaluations will now have access to their own Snapshot. This enables individuals to reflect on their recent achievements and development ahead of their review. This makes the evaluation process more insightful and informed for everyone involved.
NEW! View previous 1:1 when creating Agenda
Creating an agenda ahead of a 1:1 is key to running a focused, productive session. It provides structure and clarity and ensures nothing important is missed.
While it’s always been possible to revisit past 1:1s via the Activity Feed or the 'Previous 1:1' section, we know that quick access to that information during agenda creation can be helpful.
With this update, you’ll now see a link to view your previous 1:1 when creating a new agenda, making it easier to reference past topics and bring those that are relevant forward into the upcoming 1:1.
Here’s a step-by-step to show you how it works:
Clicking the button in the top right-hand corner opens a pop-up showing all relevant details from your last session, including the 1:1 type, agenda items, notes, and captured actions. Meaning that everything you need to build on past conversations and maintain continuity is right there.
NEW! Update your 1:1 notes after the session
OpenBlend was built to support meaningful conversations during 1:1s, with the expectation that notes and updates would be captured in real time.
However, we know that in practice, it’s not always possible to record everything during the session. Especially when you're fully focused on the conversation.
With this update, you can now edit or expand on notes after a 1:1 has taken place, so nothing gets missed.
Simply go to My 1:1s > Previous 1:1s, and you’ll see a new ‘Edit’ option next to any notes captured during the meeting.
‼️ Important: This feature allows you to edit existing notes only. A note must be entered during the 1:1 to enable post-session editing. Even a short placeholder will do.
NEW! Enhanced Data on Demand Reporting
Access to accurate, actionable data is essential for understanding engagement, adoption, and performance across your organisation.
OpenBlend’s Data on Demand, powered by Microsoft Power BI, has always delivered deep insights to help customers optimise how the platform is used.
Following recent updates to the OpenBlend interface and the release of several new features, we’re excited to announce a significant enhancement to Data on Demand. You can now report on a wider range of activity and apply new filters to better understand platform usage, trends and behaviours across your teams.
What’s new in Data on Demand?
- Tags on High Fives: Analyse which company values are being most frequently recognised by tracking Tags used in High Fives.
- Filter by Region: Segment data using newly created, custom-defined Regions - perfect for tracking engagement and usage across office locations or business units.
- Objectives by Type: Drill into Objectives data based on type - Performance, Personal Development, or Career Development - to see where your team is focusing their goals.
- Enhanced Feedback Reporting: Access more granular data on feedback trends, including who is giving/requesting feedback, how often, and the topics being covered.
- 1:1 Focus Type Analysis: View how often different types of 1:1 conversations (e.g., Development, Wellbeing, Project Updates) are taking place to assess where attention is being placed, and whether it's being placed in the right areas.
These updates bring even greater clarity and depth to your reporting, empowering you to make informed decisions about people strategy and platform adoption.
If you’d like support with interpreting or accessing any of this data, please don’t hesitate to contact your Customer Success Manager.
