In your Team View, you can see information before completing the first session. Text that appears blue will be clickable to then view, this can be the following:

  • Wellbeing scores submitted in registration (by clicking the wellbeing circle)
  • Blend elements selected and definition (click ‘Prepare for a session’)
  • Any Objectives / Priorities or Actions added before the first session

The talent name & Blend progress is greyed out due to Blend element scores not being visible to managers until the first session is completed.

After first session, managers will have a full view on their teams profile.

How often should I have sessions with my team member?

Your company may have set out a frequency expectation when they launched OpenBlend. Check with them first, if you're unsure.

The tool has been developed to flexibly suit needs and you may find the answer to this question is different for each person in your team.  Our users are benefiting from weekly and monthly sessions, but we'd recommend completing sessions with each team member at least once a quarter.

What should I cover during sessions?

Both you and your team member should have a think about areas you want to cover ahead of each session. That way you're both clear on your talking points for the session.

You can cover a specific area like a Blend element or your overall Wellbeing or arrange a session targeted at Objective-setting or Action-planning. Concentrate on the areas that are most valuable to you at the time.

What long should a session be?

This will be dependent on what you decide to cover each session. It could be a quick 15-minute check-in or a 60-minute deep dive.

Preparing some talking points to cover in the session will enable you to be more efficient, if you're limited for time.

What happens if I miss a session?

If you've missed a session, don't worry. Simply Update booking to a time you can make in the future.

Set a Repeating series for your session bookings so that you don't have to remember to book them in each time.

Make sure to always click Begin session to get access to additional features and ensure the session is logged.
