In this article you will find out how to get started by logging in and completing your registration.

Get Logged In

Your company Administrator will set you up with access to OpenBlend and you'll receive an email inviting you to login. Your Administrator is usually somebody in HR but if you're not sure who your Administrator is, please reach out to us at helpdesk@openblend.com

You can access OpenBlend via app.openblend.com or from the Log-in button on the OpenBlend website.

To log-in you will need to enter your email address and the temporary password, in your welcome email. If SSO is enabled for your organisation, you will be directed to through your normal SSO procedure.

Register & Get Set-up

Once you've logged in, you'll be invited to complete your registration. The OpenBlend registration process consists of 2 sections:

  • Section 1: Personal Details
  • Section 2: Work Details

The Personal Details section covers:

  • Gender Identity
  • Birth Year
  • Dependants

The Work Details section covers:

  • Job Function
  • Office Location

Once you have completed your registration, you should set-up your Blend and putting in your Wellbeing scores, if these modules are enabled. Registration could take as little as 15 minutes but there is a self-reflective piece and you will get more out of this by investing more time. You don't have to finish everything in one go, you can come back and continue where you left off.

Blend is one of the key modules at OpenBlend. In Blend you choose from a list of Blend elements, which are the aspects of your work and life that are most important and motivating for you personally. You write your own definition for each of these, and give a score to indicate where you think you are today and where you would like to be.

Wellbeing asks you three different questions about how you're feeling.

Please see this article for more detail on completing Blend and Wellbeing for the first time. You'll also learn more about Blend and Wellbeing in later sections of this guide.

When you are ready, progress to the next section to learn about the coaching frameworks used in OpenBlend.
